Lebanon has its capital city in Beirut which is also the largest city in the country. Roads are narrow and may seem chaotic to new visitors of the country, and the public transportation system is inadequate. The best way to get through the city is with buses and private/shared taxis.

Lebanon, especially Beirut is one of the safest places to travel but it's best to avoid the suburbs in the south of the country.
