Basic Travel Requirements for Nigerians visiting Hong Kong

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Hong Kongese Visa.

  • Duly-completed visa application form and Declaration Form, together with two recent passport photos
  • Applicant's passport copy—bio-data pages
  • Original Certificate of Incorporation
  • Original introduction letter from applicant's company (to be signed and stamped) to state clearly the purpose of visit, duration of stay, applicant's name, present position and passport number, sponsor's name, address and telephone number in Hong Kong.
  • Original invitation letter from applicant's sponsor in Hong Kong
  • Proof of applicant's financial standing—original and correct company's bank statement (latest 3 - 6 months)
  • Details of previous visit to Hong Kong, if applicable
  • Copy of all the above-mentioned documents
  • Proof of payment of visa fee ($50)

The capital of Hong Kong is in the city of Victoria. It has four climate seasons of the spring, fall, summer and winter. Hong Kong is a year round travel destination, while the summers are generally hot and humid, the winters are cool and dry, and its peak travel time is during the autumn months of September to December, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for exploring outdoor activities.
