Tajikistan is a landlocked country in Central Asia and has its capital city in Dushanbe. The best time to visit Tajikistan is on the months of June to September when the temperature is perfect to hike up the Pamir ranges and there is little to no rainfall. Tajikistan's main ethnic group are the Tajiks, with minorities such as the Uzbeks and Kyrgyz, and a small Russian minority. The people are predominantly Muslims and Tajik and Russian are it's official languages. It's popular foods include rice dish, flatbread, vegetable soup and noodles.
